Neolia
Delete your account.
For the Neolia app on iOS and Android, published by Neolia Inc. Last updated: 16 October 2026.
This page explains how Neolia users can request the deletion of their account and the data associated with it.
How to request deletion
If you still have access to the app: open Settings inside Neolia and tap Delete my account.
If you no longer have access to the app: email support@getneolia.com from the address linked to your account and request account deletion.
What is deleted
- Your profile is hidden from discovery and sign-in/session revocation is attempted when the request is accepted. Technical failures are retried in the background.
- Your public profile is anonymized and hidden from discovery.
- Personal account data, Double AI memory, owned profile files, stories and support-ticket uploads are cleaned up in the background. A failed step remains pending for retry instead of being reported as complete.
- Your premium-access flags in Neolia are disabled. Account deletion does not itself cancel recurring billing: cancel an Apple or Google subscription in its store, and contact support for a Stripe subscription.
What may be retained
- Conversations, messages and attachments already shared can remain with their participants. Their contents and existing copies are not automatically erased or fully anonymized by account deletion.
- Billing, payout, tax and dispute-related records may remain where needed for accounting, compliance or fraud prevention. Review dates do not guarantee automatic deletion of these records.
- A minimal deletion log may be retained to prove the request was processed and to prevent abuse.
Processing time
The confirmed request is recorded before background cleanup starts. Existing access tokens can remain usable until expiry; a final cleanup follows a drain period of at least 65 minutes. Technical failures can extend processing and are retried. Production database backups can retain recovery copies for up to 28 days; deleted files can remain recoverable by the host for 7 days. Shared conversations and retained financial or provider-held records follow the separate limits described above and in the Privacy Policy.
